The mission of the East-West University is to provide higher education in medicine, health care in general and healthcare management based on scientific and clinical experience that is based on the expansion of the knowledge, skills, values and perspectives of the individual development and the creation of a university environment in the best international experience.

Besiki Katamadze (born in 1998) is a medical doctor and educator with extensive experience in sports medicine, rehabilitation, and healthcare consulting. He is currently an Invited Lecturer at New Vision University and the Sports Medicine and Science Academy, as well as a Human Measurement Technology Assistant at the same institution.

He holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Tbilisi State Medical University. Besiki has worked in various roles, including emergency medicine, medical escort services, and athlete screening programs, contributing to research and medical education.

Tata Pukhashvili

(International Relations Manager)

Tata Pukhashvili is a specialist in management and public relations with extensive experience in international relations, human resources, and social media management

She is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management at the International Black Sea University. Tata has experience in project management, event planning, branding, and communication, contributing to both corporate and academic sectors.

Lizi Makaridze is a specialist in Student’s service and administrative support with experience in call center operations. She is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at Caucasus University. She has skills in communication, customer service, and administrative support, contributing to efficient interactions and operational management.

Mari Manjgaladze

(Medical School Academic Process Manager)

Mari Manjgaladze (born in 2000) is a specialist in medical education administration with extensive experience in academic and medical education management, as well as in the healthcare sector.

She holds a degree in Medicine from Tbilisi State Medical University.

Gvantsa Siboshvili

(Medical School Academic Process Coordinator)

Gvanca Siboshvili (born in 2001) is a specialist in social and political sciences with experience in education and project management. She has worked as an English teacher and has been actively involved in volunteer activities with AIESEC Georgia.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social and Political Sciences from Tbilisi State University and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in New and Contemporary History at the same institution. Gvanca has strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with experience in teamwork and project management.

Magda Lortkipanidze

(Head of the Student Admissions Office)

Magda Lortkipanidze (born February 25, 1994) is an expert in law and legal consultancy with extensive experience in legal representation and advisory services.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, a Master’s degree in Transnational and International Law from Chicago-Kent College of Law, and is currently Magda has extensive experience in legal consulting, contract law, and higher education teaching.

Tinatin Bajelidze

(Head of the Legal Office)

Tinatin Bajelidze (born March 2, 1998) is a specialist of legal affairs and education administration with extensive experience in legal consulting, regulatory compliance policy development, and administrative law.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.

Gvantsa Kobakhidze (born August 19, 1983) is an expert in library management with extensive experience in including text editing, publishing, administration, and library management.

She holds a degree in Philology from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, specializing in publishing and Georgian language and literature teaching.

Ekaterine Japaridze

(Human Resources and Documentation Management Manager)

Ekaterine Japaridze (born September 24, 1978) is an expert in medical management and healthcare administration with extensive experience in healthcare administration, market research, and medical service management

She holds a medical degree from Tbilisi State University and completed her residency in dermatovenerology at the Institution of Skin and Venereal Diseases.

Gulnazi Gogilidze

(Accountant)

Gulnaz Gogilidze  is an expert in accounting and financial management with extensive experience in bookkeeping, financial consultancy, and accounting leadership. She has served as the Chief Accountant at various institutions, including Aladashvili University Clinic.

She holds a degree in Accounting and Economics.

Nato Kalandadze

(Chief Accountant)

Nata Kalandadze (born October 23, 1988) is a finance and accounting specialist with extensive experience in financial reporting, tax compliance, and corporate accounting. She is currently the Chief Accountant at Single Malt Georgia LTD and has previously held key financial positions at Global Beverages, Georgia Distribution and Logistics, and New Coffee Company. Nata is skilled in IFRS, tax regulations, and financial management, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial operations.

Nino Tsomaia

(Head of the Financial Office)

Nino Tsomaia (born December 25, 1995, in Tbilisi) is a finance professional with over seven years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting. She has worked as a Financial Analyst, Controller, and Accountant in various companies, specializing in financial planning and cost analysis.

She holds a Master’s in Finance from Tbilisi Free University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Tbilisi State University.

Jiri Dostal

(Head of the Continuing Education Office)

Jiří Dostal (born September 23, 1972) is a medical expert specializing in cardiology, sports medicine, and healthcare management. He is currently the CEO of the Center for Sports Medicine and a Non-Executive Director at Innova Medical. He holds a Ph.D. in Cardiology from Charles University and has extensive experience in clinical practice, medical device innovation, and executive leadership.  He has held key roles at Johnson & Johnson and AGEL, contributing to advancements in cardiovascular healthcare. He actively participates in international medical conferences and has authored multiple scientific publications.

Lia Kharebava

(Quality Assurance Manager)

Lika Kharebava (born June 23, 1989) is an expert in education quality assurance with extensive experience in academic management, various roles in education, including quality assurance management, consultancy, and teaching.

  • Quality Assurance Expert at the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement.

She holds a Master’s degree in Education Sciences from Tbilisi State University.

David Burjanadze

(Head of the Quality Assurance Office)

Davit Burjanadze (born September 20, 1994) is a quality assurance expert with extensive experience in higher education and institutional accreditation. His experiences include Chief Specialist position at the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement in Georgia.

He holds a Ph.D. in Management from Caucasus University, an MBA from New Vision University, and has participated in international exchange programs in business and economics. Davit has also led quality assurance projects, conducted institutional evaluations, and managed accreditation processes.

Lamara Kadagidze

In 1996 she graduated from Tbilisi Chavchavadze State Institute of Foreign Languages and Culture; in 2004 Gogebashvili State Institute of Pedagogical Science and Research, Doctoral studies Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani State Pedagogical University, Doctoral Studies Graduated with Ph.D. she has many years of experience in the field of education, she is an invited lecturer in various universities. She is also the author of many publications and participant of conferences.

Tatia khachidze

In 2015, she graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Tbilisi State Medical University. In 2022, she completed her PhD at Tbilisi State Medical University, field – internal medicine. She has many years of experience working in the medical and educational fields. She is both an invited lecturer and a doctor-gastroenterologist. also the author of a number of scientific papers and a participant in international scientific conferences.

Ani Mjavanadze

Born in 1993. In 20017, she graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Tbilisi State Medical University and was awarded the academic degree of Doctor of Medicine. Has many years of experience working in the medical field, both as a nurse and as a junior doctor, in post-operative and resuscitation departments.

Nino Dznelashvili

In 2001 she graduated from Tbilisi State Medical University, Faculty of Medicine for general Practice; in 2002-2003, Full post-graduated course of specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Sechenov Moscow Academy; in 2016 received PhD Degree in Medicine doctoral Thesis: “Significance of the Blood Serum Epidermal Growth Factor and Endometrial Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor in Endometrial Hyperplasia”. Has many years of experience working in the medical and educational field: N.kipshidze Central University Clinic, doctor gynecologist (Georgia); New vision University Hospital, doctor gynecologist; D. Tvildiani medical University Department of Morphology &Pathology Associated Professor Humans Anatomy; she is also the author of 12 articles and participant of many Scientific and Practical conferences.

Beka Shubitidze

In 2017, he graduated from Tbilisi State Medical University, he is a general profile doctor. Since 2018, he has been a resident of general surgery. He has many years of experience in the medical field, both in the surgical department and in the intensive care and resuscitation departments. He is also a participant of a number of scientific forums and conferences.

Elene Nikobadze

She was born on February 20, 1966. In 1992, she graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Tbilisi State Medical University; 1992-1994 she completed a clinical residency at Tbilisi State Medical University, specializing in anesthesiology-reanimatology. Has many years of experience working in the medical and educational field: Doctor-reanimatologist of the resuscitation department of the Emergency Medicine Department of the Central Clinical Hospital named after Academician N. Guram Khucishvili

He was born in 1996. In 2020 he finished M.D. Doctor of Medicine Bachelor degree of the Tbilisi State Medical University; 2021 – Present Resident – Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Tbilisi State Medical University – Kuzanov Clinic. Has working experience in the medical and educational field: Lecturer -University of Georgia; Emergency Department – Junior doctor Aversi Clinic; Plastic Surgery – assistant surgeon Aversi Clinic.

Tekle Todua

In 2022 she graduated from DAVID TVILDIANI MEDICAL UNIVERSITY MD program. Tamar katcharava

Born in 1985. In 2010, she graduated from Tbilisi State medical University, Faculty of Medicine, specializing in medical affairs. Ketevan Nemsadze

Born on July 1, 1949. She graduated from the pediatric faculty of Tbilisi State Medical University in 1973. 1994-1999 she was the chief pediatrician of the Ministry of Health of Georgia; 1996-2011 Co-coordinator of the World Bank Health Project “Healthy Child and Safe Motherhood”. She has participated in more than 50 international conferences, most of which she was an invited speaker or a member of the organizing committee. She is the author and editor of more than 100 scientific papers and more than 30 textbooks. Also the author of 2 inventions.

Tatiana Mermanishvili

She was born in 1956. In 1979, she graduated from the medical faculty of Tbilisi State Medical University. She has many years of experience in both the medical and educational fields: Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, teacher; Tbilisi I Clinical Hospital, pathological anatomy department, doctor – pathologist; LLC Al. Salome Abashidze

In 2012 she graduated from davit Tvildiani university, degree of medical doctor; in 2018 she became student of Biopharmaceutics master degree- School Of Natural Sciences And Medicine, Ilia State University. She has many years of teaching both in the educational and corporate fields.

Olgha Kukhianidze

In 2002, she graduated from Tbilisi State Medical University Faculty of Medicine, specialty: general profile doctor; In 2006, she passed the residency of the Medical Academy, specialty: psychiatry; She also graduated from PhD the I. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. She has many years of experience in the medical and educational fields, she is a psychiatrist and invited teacher, as well as the author of many publications.

Nugzar Durmishidze

He was born on March 5, 1952. In 1975, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Tbilisi State Medical University, in 1998 he graduated from the Faculty of International Relations of the Diplomatic Academy of Georgia. He has many years of experience working in the educational and scientific field, both as an associate professor and a research worker.

She was born in 1969. She has many years of experience working in the field of education, medicine, finance and marketing.

Nino Maghlakelidze

Born in 1979. In 2004, she graduated from the medical faculty of Tbilisi State Medical University. She has many years of experience in the medical field: National Center of Urology, Nephrology Department – doctor nephrologist; Center of High Medical Technologies, Department of Renal Replacement Therapy – Dr. Nephrologist. She is also a participant of many conferences.

Nino Eristavi

She was born on September 29, 1943. In 1967 she graduated from Tbilisi State Medical University, then in 1974 she graduated from Moscow Medical Academy and received the degree of candidate of sciences. Has many years of experience in the medical field: Tbilisi Scientific Research Institute of Clinical and Experimental Therapy – therapist.

Nino Gorgadze

Born in 1983. In 2005, she graduated from Faculty of Business Administration of Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University; In 2010, she graduated from George Washington University School of Business, Masters Certificate in Project Management; in 2021, she graduated with PhD, Faculty of Management and Business, Tbilisi State University. She has many years of experience in management and finance.

Nino Gogberashvili

She was born in 1959. In 1981, she graduated from the Institute of Foreign Languages named after Ilia Chavchavadze, specializing in teaching English and Spanish languages. She has many years of experience in the field of education: Ilia State University – guest lecturer of English language; P. Shotadze house Medical Academy, for foreigners – guest teacher of Georgian language;

Nino Gachechiladze

She was born in 1968. In 1990, she graduated from Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, specialty: microbiology, virology, molecular biology; In 1994, she became a doctor of biology (code – allergology and immunology). She has many years of experience in both the educational and scientific fields, and is also the author of a number of scientific papers and manuals, a participant in international conferences and congresses.

Nani Gonjilashvili

In 2012, she graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Tbilisi State Medical University; In 2018-2020, she completed a residency at the same university in the field of internal medicine. She has many years of experience in both the medical and educational fields, she is an invited lecturer at the University of Georgia, a doctor pulmonologist in the emergency cardiology center named after G. Nana Gogokhia

Born on January 1, 1990. In 2013, she graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Tbilisi State Medical University; In 2015, she graduated from the master’s program of the budget institution of the Russian Federation “Hematology Research Institute”. She has many years of experience in the scientific field, she is also the author of several publications, a conference participant, an award winner and a holder of a scientific degree.

Nana Amiranashvili

She was born in 1957. In 1979, she graduated from the Faculty of Philology of Tbilisi State University. Natia Kvarackhelia

In 1996, she graduated from the Faculty of Preventive Medicine of Tbilisi State Medical University. In 2002, she graduated from the Faculty of Public Health of Bielefeld University. Natia Vashakmadze

She was born in 1987. Mashfig Orujovi

Marine Kanashvili

Has many years of experience in the medical field, both infectious disease specialist and pharmacist. She also has the working experience in the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social affairs of Georgia. She is the author of several publications: “signs of anaerobic sepsis”, “clinical polymorphism of amoebiasis”.

Mariam Tevzadze

She was born in 1953. In 1980, she graduated from Tbilisi State University’s master’s program in biochemistry. In 2003, she became a doctoral candidate in biological sciences at Tbilisi State University. She has many years of experience in the educational field: Associate Professor, Davit Agmashenebeli University, Department of Medical Sciences. Maia Donadze

Born on January 8, 1968. In 1990, she graduated from the Faculty of Philology of Tbilisi State University, majoring in classical philology. She has many years of experience in teaching the Georgian language to foreigners, she is also a translator, she has experience in teaching (University of Georgia, teacher, subject: Latin language for doctors) and company management. Lia Sandleri

Lela Tabidze

Born in 1989. In 2013, she graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Tbilisi State Medical University; In the same university, she completed his residency in rheumatology. She has experience working in the medical field, as well as invited teacher of a.Shotadze Academy, pharmacist, and instructor of the National Training Center. She is the organizator of many conferences, trainings, seminars and lectures.

Levan Ratiani

In 2007, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Tbilisi State Medical University. In 2012, He finished his Ph.D from the same university in the field of therapy. He has many years of experience working in the medical and educational fields, and has received numerous grants and scholarships.

Leila Beitrishvili

She is a doctor of medicine, pediatrician. She has the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences obtained at Tbilisi State Medical University. She worked at the Department of Pediatrics of TSSU, in the position of associate professor in recent years. Worked in international healthcare and public health projects, focusing on maternal and child health, in Georgia and other countries, both as an expert-specialist and as a supervisor. Irakli Khvtisiashvili

Irada Khalilova

In 1983, she graduated from the Faculty of Biology of Azerbaijan State Medical University. In 1994, she became a doctor in the direction of biological sciences, Department of Allergology and Immunology, Medical University, Azerbaijan, Baku. Has many years of work experience in the scientific and educational field: Clinical immunology and biochemistry lecturer/ laboratory instructor, “Khazari University”. Laboratory Instructor-Otago, New Zealand. Lecturer, laboratory instructor-biochemistry department, “Azerbaijan Medical University”. She is the author of numerous scientific research articles.

He was born on August 2, 1989. In 2012, he graduated from Davit Tvildian Medical University, academic degree – qualified doctor, specialty – general profile doctor. Giorgi Khurodze is a legal and business professional with over 15 years of experience. He is currently the President (CEO) of East-West University, where he leads the institution’s strategic vision, governance, and academic development.

Before transitioning into academia, Giorgi was the Head of Deloitte Legal in Georgia, where he advised on mergers, acquisitions, and international transactions. His career also includes senior legal positions at JSC Partnership Fund and Geocell LLC (TeliaSonera Group), where he specialized in corporate governance, regulatory matters, and financial structuring.
