From March 18-21, 2025, representatives of East-West University, including Lela Vanishvili, Head of the International Relations Department; Khatuna Sagnelidze, Vice President; and Jiri Dostal, Head of the Continuing Education Department, visited Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The delegation met with our partner university, American University of Technology, which operates with the support of Arizona State University (ASU)—one of the leading public research universities in the United States, renowned for its innovative approaches and global collaborations.
During the visit, meetings were held with the university’s rector, faculty deans, and students, where discussions focused on cooperation opportunities, exchange programs, and collaboration details. Additionally, as part of these meetings, the Head of the Continuing Education Department of East-West University delivered an insightful presentation.
With the support of Arizona State University, the American University of Technology has access to innovative academic methodologies, advanced research initiatives, and internationally aligned educational programs, ensuring students receive a high-quality, globally recognized education.
