On July 27-30, 2023, the founders of East-West University, Prof. Teimuraz Khurodze and Prof. Hamlet Isakhanli, visited the universities of Ankara, the capital of Turkey. The purpose of the visit was to internationalize the activities of the East-West University, to hold meetings and negotiations for cooperation in the educational and scientific direction, as well as to sign memorandums of mutual cooperation. Meetings were held with the rectors of Ufuk, Gazi, Baskent and Hacettepe universities, as well as administration representatives. Named universities were selected because of the presence of medical faculties in their structure, therefore university clinics were also introduced. It should be noted that the meetings and negotiations took place in a highly business and friendly atmosphere, plans were made for the initiation and implementation of educational, scientific, cultural relations. of mutual cooperation were signed with the Baskent University and Ufuk University. Signing of cooperation agreements with Gazi and Hacettepe universities will take place during their return visit to our university.
